information of mods done to tank -
rimless - information on procedure taken
i cut the trim and used a straight blade to remove the silicone. it is pretty clean but can use goo gone to clean it up more if you deem it necessary.
removed false floor in chamber 1
removed tab flowing into chamber 2
no bio balls

additional info:
the tank has been up and running for only 2 months!
no coraline all over the place.
i will clean it with vinegar/water solution. i personally don't sell things i wouldn't buy in the best possible shape.

how old is the skimmer?

not 100% sure. i bought it used. approximate use time on my tank was about a month. break in time took about 2~ weeks moved it to my sump and did well. from there i upgraded. i feel tooo constricted with a nano. atleast that size. a 40breeder would be perfect.
