Hey all,

A few days ago, I pulled a piece of LR (one medium piece bout 6-7 lbs) out of my sump that I breaking down and stuck it in a bucket with Saltwater, and Chaeto... I am in the process of using setting up a new tank, and was gonna buy another medium piece to complete my LR... However I don't know if this piece is safe to use. It has almost been two full days, since I pulled it out, and has been submerged in saltwater from the old tank sense.

Safe to use??

Kicker: I took it out cuz it had a few pieces of bubble algae.... worth it??

I think it would be fine to use. Just remove the bubble algea. You might have a little die off. HMMM New tank? Did you get that new Solana XL? You are up to no good LOL. You say new tank old tank sump. So lets see old tank bio29 new tank Solana XL.
