Would chaeto grow in the middle back chamber just from light overflow in a nanocube 12 dx? There seems to be a decent amnt. of light overflow.

You can put an LED back there and it'll work great, I think (but may be mistaken) that nano-tuners offers something to that effect. I did the same thing with my old jbj 12g dx and it made for a really nice in-tank refugium.

I have a BC14 with a nova extreme pro and I have the cheato in the chamber with the return pump chamber 3 and it grows with just the overhang light or what ever light hits it but im not sure how much light is going in your back chamber it should be good till you buy a cheap 10$ light stevie T has some nice ones on here made for that for a good price later..
