I Have been hearing lots of things on mine and my cousins thread. But what is hte best filter for a 10g frag tank. I might have 1 fish max not 2. Should i get a protein skimmer? How should i set it up i read that i really shouldn't drill it. So maybe a hob fuge.Could i get a pump to suck th wat out and a pump to return it. I am really just thinking of a canister filter or a hob fuge full of lr and chaeto. Myabe a ac70.

i have a powerhead and heater with live rock and chaeto all the in frag tank itself... theres no need for a fudge because you can put it all in the main tank unless you dont like the look of it. if you get the ac 70, id just put in some filter floss.

So theres nothing wrong with chaeto in the tank. I can stick it in a breeder box under the frag rack full of rubble.

you can place rock rubble on the bottom and chaeto where ever youd like in the tank. you dont need a breeder box for it.

So what about filter wise what should i use.

So no protein skimmer.

I saw this thread and he's got a tom aquatics mini canister filter http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?...30884&st=20. I really like this but what would i put in it.

canister filters arent good for reefs. just go for the ac70. you would wanna put some filter floss or carbon in it.
