How should I go about fragging my condyactis anenome? It started out small and now it has taken over my whole tank!

Please don't try fragging an anemone. You will most likely kill it.

Did you also read in the thread where it said it was for s. tapatum species only? As in only for mini-carpet anemones and will not work on any other species quite as well.

If you cut down the mouth, it should work. I does for E. quadricolor. I tore the foot on my old condy and it healed within a week. By a whole I mean the foot was like a ring around the whole. Stable tank params, low nutrients, and proper amounts of usable light can go a long way towards the recovery of the anemone. Why do you want to frag it?

You can split it. Try searching here and google for info. There are also videos on youtube on how to split anemones.

Probably because it's getting too big for her tank.
I suggest positioning it really close to a HOB intake- that'll shrink it in no time.

I just think its kind of mean to chop up something like that when you can get rid of it to someone with a bigger tank and just go buy another one but smaller. Its not like they are hard to find.

I just moved the condy you gave me to the 30 today. It was def. too big for the 10. Anemone jail, nothing could keep it from swaying out and stinging things. I can't seem to catch the clown so I can unite them. I was impressed- it looks good in the 30.

I suppose that logic could be applied to corals, also?

Very little. I've seen many acan and other lps polyps cut in half and both halves will regenerate.
