I picked up a Optx LED Pod from Advance Auto last night for 9.75. It has 6 led's, and they are extremely bright and run off of 12v. The two in the middle face down, and the ones on each side face out for excellent coverage. I am extremely impressed.

Figured I would share.

I used to have one of those $40 Coralife moonlights, and mounting options aside, this one smokes it. And those were bright, but the coverage on this pod is much better.

Not meaning to hijack but walmart has 3 LED system for 8 bucks. All 3 are fully movable as well so you can aim them to spotlight your favorite corals at night. An AC/DC converter is like 5 bucks at the dollar stores so it's a cheap/easy/awesome DIY.
