Hi. I have a NC6 and wanted to add a 2.5g fuge in the stand. Has anyone done this keeping the stock hood on? I have searched and searched everywhere but nothing... Is this possible?

Thanks in advance! biggrin.gif

Will this work?

Thinking of running a small hose (a little larger than an air hose siphon from main tank(6g) down to the 2.5g then hool up an ATO system on the 2.5g to turn on the pump to fill the 6g.

The only issue I will have is if the power cuts off, my 2.5g will over flow. But to fix this is just to make sure that the start of the siphon is just a little under the water level of the 6g tank.

Am I thinking too much? Grrr.. I have a mod bug!!!

Interesting idea with using the ATO to operate the pump. You might consider a backup float switch to turn the pump OFF if the drain line becomes blocked though, so you don't flood the display.
