I am starting to think about buying a skimmer for my Aquapod and was just wondering what you guys thought would be a good fit without spending a arm and a leg. I only have 2 clowns so no a heavy bioload but at the current time just using filterfloss and Liverock.

You could go without a skimmer, but a quality skimmer is going to cost you over 100$ either way. I like my Sapphire skimmer in my ap24.

I've been going skimmerless since the tank was setup I guess with just 2 fish weekly water changes are enough to handle the bioload.

Well I had some GHA spring up a little while ago wasnt able to pull the rock out to scrub it out. I figured I might just try n starve it out and its worked a little but no New growth so thats always a plus just figured the skimmer might have helped pull some of the stuff out that was keeping it hanging around.

How often do you feed your clowns? I have one and I feed it every one or two days lol

They get fed every 3 or 4 days Im looking to add some more corals soon but want to handle the GHA thing first.

Huh weird. Maybe you should get a skimmer.
Also, why kind of CUC do you have?

The CUC was a custom crew from reefcleaners I hadnt seen so many snails in my life that day lol But the thing that gets me about the GHA whats on my rocks in spots isnt alot No new growth the old stuff just isnt fading away.
