it's really pretty amazing.....they started under my XL toadstool b/c of the shade and then I moved a rock with a few of them on it and didn't think it mattered much cause it would be place where there's higher light and stronger flow

now they're over running a good half the tank and growing in between the zoas...and the more i pull out the faster they grow back


i guess it's not a bad the but it's getting kind of annoying.....any ideas on what to do to calm them down a bit??

You sure it's feather dusters and not colonial hydroids? They look like tiny brown or tan feather dusters, but they're not good, and spread fast.

i have them in my tank. theyve got a white tubes and red feathers. if anything, they would be good for your tank because i think theyre known for polishing water. they breed like crazy huh? i see more and more all the time,.

nope def not......little brown dusters....EVERYWHERE!! lol

they are growing all over my fake rock wall too...so cool!

Have any pictures?

Are they the kind with calcium tubes or with the sediment/parchment-ish type(serpulid and sabellid, if I remember correctly...)?

the second one....they looked like tree branches that kind of float
