I just recently bought a 12" 36w aqualight for my 3 gallon tetra aquarium. I have a problem, my tank is only 6.5" wide and the light is 7.5-8" wide. Has anyone ever hung this light or made some sort of legs or something like that to fit a smaller tank? Any help would be awesome. Thanks

I will go home and try to figure something out. Has anyone ever hung this light before?

I went home and did some measureing and I took the endcaps off of the Aqualight and looked inside and from what I saw I can attach a small metal screw into the top casing and use it as an anchor point so I can hang it above my tank.
