In Albuquerque at one point there were several different fish stores (this was long before i was even considering this a hobby). With the epic economic problems growing and customers slowly dwindling several stores had to close up.
I work at one of the remaining reef stores and met a really neat guy who had one of the most amazing SPS dominant tanks in the state. After several months of knowing him he had one bad thing happen to the tank after another. One was a heater that failed and exploded in the tank. After several other problems he finally bought a new tank. He came in to the store and offered me his old tank for 350 bucks. On top of that i get a pic of all the live rock that i want that he has sitting in some tubs at his house.
It is a 205 acrylic custom frag tank that he bought from one of the stores that closed down. I'm not sure what the exact dimensions are but i will let you guys know tomorrow. The one thing that made me fall in love with it and could not pass it up was that its only 24 inches tall, and the tank sits really low so you can get a really cool birds-eye view of the coral.
I wont get the tank for another month because he has to tear it down. This gives me some good long time to think about what i want to do and how i want to go about doing it. Here's the room that the tank will be going in.

The couch will be moved on to the opposite wall were you can get a good sit down view of the tank itself.
If you guys have any other ideas let me know.
Like i said before, i will have plenty of information about the tank and (cross your fingers) some pictures of the tank itself.
