Hi,
My tank of 11 months have at least over 100 star fish. The really small blue-ish kind.
My is only a 12G tank.

Can anyone please let me know how to keep them under control. I plan to get a harlequin (?) some time
to attack the star fish.

But please let me know if any of my water param could have caursed this.

thanks

Sounds like asterina starfish. I'm pretty sure I've heard that the harlequins will eat them, but I've never kept one, so better to ask someone else.

I'm not sure about parameters. I've kept any uneaten food from getting to them, and they still multiply. They pretty much eat just about anything; algae, old food, tank gunk, and if they're really hungry they pester my zoanthids...

A Harley will take care of them. I would'nt hesitate in some kind of removal of Asterinas with hue of blue, from my experience, these are coral eaters.
