I'm using dead rock from Reefcleaners and dead sand to start my new Solana. I'm just not clear on how exactly I should go about setting this thing up. Can I just add everything (live rock, fish, corals) from my current tank to the Solana with the dead rock and sand and go? Or do I need to put a few pieces of live rock from my current tank into the Solana and let it sit for awhile before adding fish, etc.?

You have to seed the dead sand and rock with bacteria, to establish your new tank. Add a piece or two of your current LR and wait a few weeks for everything to establish.

If the rock is clean (i.e. nothing that would degrade underwater), then you shouldn't have a problem adding all your rock and live stock since the new rock won't create a cycle. However, moving may cause a [mini-]cycle.
