Looking for a small supply of waratah anemones. I want to buy about 10 total for my species only tank.
Please let me know what you have and price.
I'm in southern California.
Thanks in advance!

i got one.

Those are coldwater right?
neenish
Yes, colder water, but I had mine in 75 degree water for years until a tank melt down 2 yrs ago..Shoot me over a price with shipping if you have one or more for sale (they can go priority mail without a problem. I've had them shipped from England to California that took over a week w/o a prob).

Let me know how much you want for it. I didn't find it on your website.

Can they be acclimated to a low tank temp? I mean do I have to raise the tank temp or will they make it going from warm to cold? If I were to get one...
er1c_the_reefer
i think you can acclimate them to warm water, but the highest you should go is 75-76F
Jacobnano
It looks like those are kept at warm. I mean will they fine going into cold temps right?
neenish
The Australian Waratah anemones that I had in the past were cold water species, but slowly acclimated to my higher temp tank (74-78) where they thrived and reproduced.
xiongaquatics
i kept mine in warm water all this time with no problem. the wholesaler where i got it from also kept it in warm water with all the other anemone they carry.
i'll get some picture tomorrow and see if you still want it.

how cold? they're in the mid-sixties naturally. going to the fifties might be a problem (warmer temps occur for them in the wild, but not colder temps, and so makes adaptation that much more difficult), but you could always start with one and see how it fares.

Fragglereef had them a couple months back, you might want to check with them.

i'd think too warm would be way worse than too cold, but we'll see

haven't others here kept these in the upper 50's., lower 60's?
xiongaquatics
here is the one i have. kept it for over 6 month now.
