dry.gif I don't get the BFD

She has ZERO feedback and signed up on 10/31 Lil' suspicious no?

Uhm, happy bidding I guess.....good luck (in many capacities) if you're bidding smile.gif
pmoradi2002
Luckily many people know her, her user ID is the same as her username on many forums. I have personally seen the Sopranos in her tank and they are true. I'm not sure if she has any feedback but I do know many people that have bought from her and her husband. She is mainly on Reef Discussion, Reef2Reef, and Reef Central.
Orphicdragon
Well that's comforting. I'm sure somebody is willing to drop mad $$ for 'em
Jacobnano
They look pretty normal to me. They are nice but I have seen better. No worth any more than 15$. Ever.
nanoreefnate
thats kinda strange.... huh.gif
most people that buy on ebay are looking for 99.9% feedback or higher...
Suspicious IMO...
OPs post is also a little Suspicious
lajz9
Gotta start at some point right? If nobody bought anything from anyone with 0 feedback there would never be any sales. lol

Personally, I'm gonna bid. But then again, I'm a sucker.

$71 plus $57 shipping ? Honestly for that much I'd go for some dendrophyllia polyps, or maybe a SPS colony...
crazydante23
Zoagirl has a sweet collection of zoanthids and palys. She is a cool reefer.

If you want dendros, I have them for $25 a polyp. Don't need to spend so much.

Nope. No cut, even though I wouldn't mind one smile.gif. Just a bunch of people were asking for Sopranos so I just tell them where to look.

C'mon John. don't you have some extremely rare and valuable macroalgae for sale?
Didn't you get in off an island in the Bermuda Triangle that only scalawags and scurvy dog pirates can find, with a special map that can only be read by the light of a blue moon? And that anyone who possesses this macroalgae will immediately have their lovelife improve and be able to pick the winning numbers at the powerball lottery?
Ya just got to have a vivid imagination John. And some royal blue led illumination. I've got some very run of the mill Padunkadunk (or whatever) zoanthids that fluoresce like the picture above under blue led's.
I just hope the people buying those things for that price are rich, and not stealing their kids school lunch money to get them.

Why is it so odd that he posted saying look what I found? I have purchased from Pmoradi 2 times before and never had one problem with him.Second who cares if he gets a cut. If you don't like them then don't bid. Who cares if they are 15 grand a polyp GTFO of this guys thread and quit bashing him for trying to help somebody out that is looking for these.

I made a post talking about a BTA, then showed a picture of my old Sebae that clearly said "this is my old sebae" above it. And you posted "Thats not a BTA its a sebae"

Uhm no. We are reefers and thus must argue our superiority over each other at every possible opportunity.

Duh. tongue.gif

On topic, whats the BFD with Soprano's? What makes them more desirable than the Darth Mauls or Nightmares?

Question: Why are they called Sopranos?

How do zoa's get their wild names? I've seen two zoas which look the same to me, but have different names - I just thought that if you have a zoa, you can name it whatever you want.

laugh.gif - you are right, I think I may have run into one or two of those macros, and market it as such.

(I really have once, gave it away to a guy that always bought some algae from every other week or so....very rare, only grows in one location in the world - seriously. He sent me a note - "thanks for the extra macro, my tang loved it! laugh.gif "

Awesome mellow.gif
johnmaloney
i thought it was funny, tangs and rudders eat it up in the wild too so it was fitting. (mostly rudders, the tangs head out in the winter to deeper water for the most part) I see a bit of it in the winter, but only took a few drift specimens because I don't want to feel bad about it. I will refrain from giving out the name of it though, because the scientific literature gives away the spot.

I'm guessing the color. Sopranos are yellow where the others are more of an orange/red/pink.
nemmy
I saw on another forum that she posted about the auction. I guess she started it a $.99 and it just took of from there. I dont like when people charge some astronomical price for stuff like this so they can say "im cool i have this rare expensive coral i sold for 10000 dollars". But that doesnt seem to be the case, i guess the bidders are just that psyched about getting it. And hopefully they spread the wealth instead of selling a polyp at a time for a crazy price. We should all help eachother out in this hobby, things are tough as it is. Aquaculture is the way to go.

But i wouldnt spend that much personally, unless it ate all traces of nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, phosphates, and it pooped gold bricks.
