Well im about to get ready to get rid of my seaclone junk skimmer and to get an octopus hob skimmer.I see a whole bunch of different kinds,but not sure on which one to get.I want it to do surface skimming too.I have a 55g tank.

get the octopus bh-100f. has the surface skimmer and is fed by siphon with the pump inside the skimmer, so it is very efficient and takes up little room in the tank. i have one on my 40b that i barely feed and it pulls out some thick, nasty green gunk on a regular basis. it's quiet too.
