Alright everyone, I've recently purchased a small goniopora frag and have put in my tank where i have a black clown. The first few days after putting it in the tank, it extended out great just as it did in the store, however, my clown decided that it wanted to host the coral. Because of this, my coral hardly ever extends out and when it does my clown quickly makes it retract. I've got and idea on what i could do to protect it and wanted some input. I got the idea from a guy feeding his sun coral. The idea is to cut the top of a soda bottle, make holes in the side for circulation, and just place it over the coral. Do y'all think this would help solve my problem? Would the plastic hinder the light reaching the coral?
Thanks

Alright since no one replied, I just went ahead and did it ha. I found the perfect bottle that form a sort of orb around the coral. After being moved, it's not wanting to open up but I'm starting to see some movement from it. Going to wait till in the morning to post if any noticeable changes have occured. smile.gif

I was actually going to say take it back to the LFS. Most of what I've read is their survival rate is real low in the aquarium.
