acans?

of some sort, was hoping for scientific names if they are specific kinds

for even a vague idea you'd have to get clearer up close shots to help distinguish them

edit: #1 looks like Acanthastrea echinata
organism
First one is an Acan echinata, that one will turn bright rainbow under higher light and cleaner water than it's currently in. The second are Micromussa amakusensis, which are stretching like that because they're also under too little light...

I just got them today, they arent even fully adjusted to my tank, but thanks for the names of them!
The tank they were in had at the LFS had some real low looking light, and ####ty water quality no doubt, hopefully my tank straightens them out.
My water is perfect btw.

If you paid anything under $40-50 for those micros you got a heck of a deal by the way smile.gif

Thanks!
I know most people here have prettier stuff, but my area is very limited to what i can get.
Hopefully under my lights they might adjust and change colors a bit.

The purple one is purple/teal/neon orange (camera washed it out a bit)
The other one is just red.

But i like them :-D
