As a pico-reefer I am always up for getting my hands on a new tank of some sort... as you can see from my other threads I have the smallest of small.....and I love it!
I have noticed a new product line from ADA called Do!Aqua but can't seem to find anywhere that sells the ones I am looking for... they have a new VASE series that looks REALLY cool..... but being a Japanese company I cannot find anywhere either Japanese or USA to order the vases.. they are named something wierd like plant vase garden or something... but they are not the standard cubes... maybe you have seen them and maybe not.. but if anyone knows where I can get one of these please let me know...
The other thing is the new cube from picoaquariums.com - I like the 6x9x8 they have but for 40 bucks! and 20 shipping... common..... There has to be a better source of some of these smaller aquariums... I know everyone is going to say "check wal-mart" or look for vases or cube vases with no distortion, but I want to know who has some links for smaller cube aquariums, or even smaller pico size rectangles maybe that are online to purchase...
Post your links and share your sources.... I am looking to buy some new pico's to add to my collection, and this will also serve as a source for others looking to find some smaller sized pico's
I will post some more as I find them as well.. I hope to see some people adding their sources!

Current USA's Bettacube makes for an amazing pico tank.

This is a good one that I used to have

The reason for the higher cost of my PicO's is because I use 3/16" high polished glass. Most other builders use 1/8" swiped or buffed. That leaves a marbled or frosted look.
And the shipping should have been $15 I am having a ongoing issue with my UPS calculations on the site that I am trying to fix.

Deli does good work. I'm sure that Do!Aqua tank will cost just as much.
http://www.adana-usa.com/index.php?main_page=afa_homeThey carry them, but don't list them on the site. You have to call/email to get pricing.

It's not a bad price really... just the shipping for a small tank... but glass and name brand is understandable... I wasn't bashing at all.. I love the PicO products, just trying to find other peoples "make-shift" pico tanks....
I actually still think I am going to order one from picoaquariums.com to play with... I wish there were some other smaller sizes from picoaquariums as well... a variety of smaller ones like an 8" cube or 6" cube would be GREAT....

ADA also uses the thicker mm glass and high polish edges that's why they are so popular. I wish I could knock another $15 or $20 off my price but I just can't compete with a large scale international company.
I build all these units in my shop at my house.

Another popular method is removing the rim from a 2.5G AGA and adding a false wall.
You give me the size you want and I will make it!!!
I am thinking of moving to FedEX and ditching UPS because the rates are always $2 or $3 more then FedEX.

Just my 2 cents worth - I have one of Deli's Picos and the build is so sweet. The finish work is really the thing that sets his tanks apart - glad to see that Chris is willing to do customs - I may have to hit him up on that!

Shweet!!
I can also do these in 1/8" for a lot less but the edge will be a swiped only edge and would not be polished. It would look like a standard glass tank from like petsmart.
Just a thought if you are trying to get the cost down. 3/16 is gonna be way overkill but will look cleaner.

If you could let me get a price quote on both to compare that would be great. Cost down would be really good, but I would like to take a look at all of them...

So after looking more into the 1/8" for some of these smaller tank I have decided to start offering 1/8" to lower the cost. While it's not a nice polished and beveled edge like the 3/16", it does turn out pretty dang good.
Here's a 4" mock up I did for Kevin what do you guys think?

The pictures where taken with a macro lens. at normal viewing range this thing is remarkably clear to my surprise.

Found a few others online, and some in question. Does anyone know anything about this one?
NOT THE ONE AT TOP, I OBVIOUSLY KNOW WHAT THAT IS....
http://www.squidoo.com/pico-reefScroll down to where it says:
Pico Reef Reviews and Tips
Reviews of the most popular pico reef aquariums
It is the one that has the watch laying out in front of it...
Looks like a smaller one gallon rounded corner tank.....
Anyone know where to pick one of these up?
Also, I wanted to see if anyone has any smaller pico's they are looking to get rid of...
