soo i bought this rock off a friend for 30 bucks was it worth it or did i get ripped ? its about a foot long and i dont know what kind of zoa's these are.

Thanks!
Orphicdragon
I'm not sure what kind they are but 30$ for a foot long colony of zoa's is not a ripoff.

Mr. Microscope
Those are beautiful! I don't know what they are, but you got an incredible deal. You've got a good friend there. I've seen zoas in colonies no more than a couple inches across selling for $60-70 at my LFS in Manhattan. Granted everything is more expensive here, but still...
MikeTR
They are either radioactive dragon eyes or lemon limes.. I would buy it at that price.
RESONANCE
I've got to agree with the others - named or unnamed zoa's aside, a foot long colony is a f***ing great deal man. I thought they look similar to green bay packers but the face looks purple and not dark green (like on gbp's). If it is purple, IMO, they're nicer than green bay packers (and boy the packers suck this year - fooball not zoas lol). Maximize your investment - look it up (on multiple websites), if no - one's named them yet, feel free to bestow a name on yours - submit pictures and your proposed zoa name to places like coralpedia.com/ zoaid.com, etc... frag them and sell them.

idk what they are but i have them!! they look really nice irl.. i have them under 14k 150 mh and they look awesome!!! if you like em.. get em.. they shouldnt be expensive at all. well not more then any regular zoa you would buy
BlueAbyss
No zoa is worth the price that some people will pay for them. I personally won't sell (or buy) zoas for more than a buck (or two) per polyp.

+1 Radioactive Dragon Eyes. AKA green and teal zoa. wink.gif
