Anyone use the Tetra Test laborett test kits?? If so, are they accurate? The LFS didn't have API, and the Red Sea kits are garbage.

I don't think they are accurate enough. Try buying API kits online; you will likely get large savings compared to a LFS or even stores like Petsmart.
