I was in Absolutely Fish on Monday and they had some Onyx pairs in stock. I also remember seeing a Picasso, but I can't remember if it was part of a pair or just on it's own. I'm leading towards a pair.
Reef Encounters also had an Onyx pair in stock on Monday as well.

Yeah, I know contemplated them both. 220 is crazy expensive for onyx's at Reef. I think they were 150 at Abs Fish, but just trying to find them cheaper around here. BTW I wasnt very impressed with the sale. Some things were ok, but nothing really seemed so cheap. Thanks for the reply

Yeah, theyre a great site also, and Im very jealous of course. I would prefer locally so Ill run this post for a while, but Ill probably end up shipping some. I wanted to avoid the whole shipping part, I guess its not so bad right?

How do you think your LFS's get them in

. I found a site that usually has Rod's Onyx in stock most of the time. Called Premiumaquatics.com. They even have a line that they breed themselves and sell for dirt cheap.
If you're going to get them shipped there are a few people over here that breed them. Christosclown, Colby88, and Kerusso316 all breed and are worth checking out as their fish are top-notch quality.

Yeah I saw those rods onyx too, but thought too good to be real. Ill try PMing one of the breeding members, maybe theyll be local to us.

I know you were already on my picasso post but just take a drive to the Hidden Reef over in Levittown. They still had some nice picassos left after I got my pair there. And the special is $120 for the pair.

They had those at Abs Fish as well, 50 per, which wasnt worth it for me. I also saw somewhere they had white cheek nakeds which were different. I believe it was at bluezoo, and they were ORA. Ill post some pics up when my tank comes around a little. Had an algae bloom, gotta upgrade my CUC a little. Thanks for the posts.

Haha, Hackensack is like the direct center of that little universe you just described.
