I can't afford a DSLR, and I am looking to use a camera for more than just reef shots as well.

Anyone using either of these two cameras? Recommendations?

Thanks!

My wife has the SX200 and really likes it.

It has a huge range for the size of the camera. Of course, it's not a DSLR though.

Check slickdeals.net, there have been some killer deals on the digital rebel lately...

Nice! I was hoping for some example photos! If you have anymore reef pics that you wouldn't mind sharing, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks for the info guys. I've been considering other cameras and checking out prices and things and I keep coming back to either the SX200 or 120 for what I can afford.

BTW, I work at BestBuy as well and get a decent staff discount on cameras. It's also mainly why I was looking at these two cameras in particulat, because I can get about 40 to 90 dollars off them which is pretty good for their price-point. Not to mention super discounts on accessories!

In case any of you were on the edge of your seat in suspense from the outcome of this thread, I ended up getting the Canon SX20IS. Just learning how to use it now.
