I am currently trying to figure if i can have my tank without drilling but what ever i want a fuge/sump. I am going to have some sort of rubbermaid tub or a bucket for the sump.Should i wait until the tank cycle to add chaeto and all the good macro algae.Should i make a sandbed and put live rock what should i put in it. I might make it a big rubbermaid tub.It is a 3 gallon tank how should i do this.

get your container, hook it up to your display tank. test it with nothing but water to make sure it works for a day or so, and then put sand and lr in both "tanks" and cycle then post pics
