Recently I added 2 more nassarius snails to my tank; I had 1 nassarius already in the tank. Yesterday I didn't turn the lights on because I’m trying different ways to combat a bad algae outbreak. Anyways before I went to sleep I glance at the tank and saw the nassarius doing something weird in the glass. Today when I turned the lights, on the glass was a bunch of eggs about 2 inches long by 1/2 inch wide.
Does anybody have any experience with nassarius breeding in captivity?
Any suggestions

The chance of them surviving is fairly small. Anything else in the tank will eat them. Once they dislodge or hatch your filters and pumps can kill them. My ceriths lay eggs all the time and my Margarites constantly release eggs and sperm into the water column. My fish love it when this happens...free food.
Maybe yours will make it....ya never know!

so maybe their chance of survival is higher since i only keep a lonely fish. in the other hand is a six line wrasse you know how currious they are. I barely feed my wrasse ( 2 times a week), he survives on the tons of bristtle worms living in the sand.

If you have a six line then whatever comes out of those eggs is screwed. If the six line even lets them hatch lol.

I saw a baby one pop out of the sand two weeks ago about 1/4 the size of my adults. Its a relatively small chance but not a possibility.
