I am starting to notice these red ameba looking things crawling on a lot of my corals.(frogspawn and monti).

What the hell are they and how do I get rid of them if they are harmful?

Again, they look like ameba and I've been sucking them up with a baster but I'm obviously unable to get them all as they keep reappearing on the corals.

Doing some searching and I'm thinking they're flatworms... Red flatworms.

Here some pics:

look like flatworms to me. you could use flatworm exit on your tank or you could just keep sucking them out and see if they die off eventually.

What's a 2.5g fish that would help?

Hermits won't eat flatworms! Don't put a six line in that tank. Keep syphoning them out. You could try flat worm exit but in that small of a tank watch it very closely. When they start dying they will polute that tank quickly!

Siphoning has done it. I was seeing around 6-8 a day and am now down to 1 or 2. With this small of a tank I didn't want to use chemicals. This seems to be doing the trick. Thanks for the info!
