I currently have a 6 gal up and running. The setup is eclipse 6 tank, azoo HOB power filter w/ built in skimmer, 50w heater, and a mini powerhead w/ coralife light.
I'm currently not happy with the setup because of the limit amount of space and scratches in the acrylic. The tank now is setting on a couch table against a wall. I have an idea to have a custom glass tank made up to special dimensions that would fit into the table itself. I am looking for help designing a refugium that would fit into the underside of the table where a drawer would be. The problem is that there's only about 4 to 41/2 inches of space. I was looking to drill the custom tank in the middle to run all the piping and to have a very clean look. no visible wiring or HOB filters or heater.
Any ideas would be of help, diagrams, parts, ext... please help.
