Our tanks dont come with center braces (that I have seen) but how much bowing do you get when the tank is full of water. My 40br is bowing out about 1/16" to 1/8 bowing... not much but still worries me.

a 30 breeder wont bow really at all its too short height wise.
because a 40 breeder is taller... it may bow slightly. however, it was manufactured without a center brace for a reason. if the bowing posed that large of a problem... there would be a center brace. it also has a larger stronger outer rim. i also realize, that the lip inside the rim acts like a mini euro-brace... so it DOES add structral integrity... regardless to whether its well attached or not. it still prevents some bowing.
a 50 breeder... never owned one nor seen one in person... so i couldnt say how thick the glass is etc.

Keep in mind that the breeder tanks hold more than 30/40/50 gallons. a 30br from Aqeon holds 36 gallons, the 40 breeder holds around 50 gallons. I can imagine a 50 breeder is also more than 50 gallons.
Point being that there is actually more weight in the tank, and probably pressure, than we figure there would be.
Regardless, if the manufacturer didn't include a center brace it will be fine. They warranty most tanks for quite a long time; making tanks that are going to break wouldn't make sense for them.
My 40br bowed a very little bit, maybe 1/16" and it really isn't a big deal at all.
