First off, does this stuff, considering its caustic nature, affect PH or Alk? Also, whats the shelf life on this stuff? And finally, what are your opinions of this stuff? I used it a while back and it seemed to work I've got some aiptasias I've got to deal with again though.

I have never tried the stuff before.. Have you tried peppermint shrimp? I had 10-15 aiptasia in my 7g and 1 peppermint cleared them out in 2 weeks.
