I know. I bought a vacuum from BB and the insurance. I took it in because 2 weeks later the belt is screwed up. They said they have to send it in so I let them. 2 weeks later they call and say they cannot service that brand so I ask why they sent it in to begin with and why they didnt just warantee it to begin with. They said "because the service dept. has to tell us that it cannot be serviced". I asked if I bought the same one and the same thing happens can I just replace it again and they said no, it has to be sent in. I asked "If you cant service it then whats the point of sending it to the service dept. to begin with?" They said "because it the rules". WTF is up with that?!

at least they TOLD you where yer vaccuum went....


BestBuy has the werst customer service EVAR!!!!

its almost like they go out of their way to mess with you....

They go through hours of training in how to lie to you and make you think they are doing you the favor lol. And they did tell me where my vacuum was but they didnt tell me at first that it was just going to sit there till someone saw it sitting there and said they cant work on it. I would boycot them but they have the best selection of movies .

my green monti cap has started growing fast again,
which is definitely a good sign...

the rainbow favia has settled into the tub nicely as well,
the color isn't "faded" exactly, but has moar of a 10k coloration to it,
if that makes sense to you.....

think, moar reds & green hues, less blues.

Right...moar pixels = moar resolution...but it doesn't make the picture any more "sharp." Just like the whole MEGAPIXEL marketing ploy. Moar megapixels does not mean a "clearer" picture, it means a BIGGER picture. What really effects picture clarity is image sensor size.

Most people don't understand this, so they go out and buy buy a 893470907890798689321 pixel camera thinking it takes "good pictures" but in the end they just have a camera that can take a picture the size of their house...and who really needs that?

Taking a lower res picture with a high quality camera (image sensor) accomplishes this goal much better. True, you can crop moar out of a HUGE pic, but in the end, the camera with the better image sensor, yet lower resolution will take the better pic to show off to us nano-reefers.

Now if his goal is to print pics the size of his house? Go for it! 89034805475690490 megapixels!

bestbuy robbed you mike. i never buy warranties. the MFR usually has a 1-2 yr warranty on their products. by the end of the warranty period, your computer is basically obsolete anyways. they always come out w/ new technology which lowers the value of whatever you purchased. i used to work in sales and the commissions on warranties were big. sometimes you could keep like 90% of it. thats why people push it so much. the funny thing is, we didn't even do any of the repairs onsite. we almost always sent it back to the mfr anyways.

The only time I like warranties is the insurance against cracking the screen or other non warranty stuff. I have used it and had stuff replaced on the spot from Sears before. In those cases it is nice. We always bought our cameras from Sears and without fail my wife would break it somehow and Sears just gave us full credit of what we paid and we would just upgrade. She has bent memory card prongs, dropped them and dont ask how but one time she poured lamp oil in one lmao.

yea... I learned my lesson on the insurance.....

the funny thing is...

My JBJ ATO came with 2x float switches.
1x for low water level, 1x for high water level.

So I just unplugged the "extra" switch, and stripped the wires for the DIY...
5 min.'s and 1x extension cord later, I had a second ATO...

Im breaking down the tub today for a couple a reasons.

- The room the tub is in currently, is going to be re-purposed.
- I don't really need a frag tub atm.... but will start another down the road.
- I don't have the time or space to take care of the tub... I jus dont.

The remaining frags will go in my display, as most are promised to people on here.
The Sixline wrasse and CUC will as well.
Liverock will go somewhere.....

So sadly the sun goes down on this long running project. We will miss this little tub. Wait a sec, this was neither long running nor small lol. Well it was fun while it lasted . Now you can spend more time and money on your other tank .

Yea.... It was moar of an experiment than anything serious.

I just needed some extra space.
I also wanted to see if a tank could stay cool and stable in that room.
It can....

I'll go way bigger when I have the time & money...
and a new house.

The new house part is what I am waiting on. We've already picked out a 120g long tank to go in the wall. Hopefully when we sell this house my wife will let me take a few bucks out to buy all the stuff needed lol. Now to pay this house off.
