its gonna be hard...but maybe try putting a piece of shrimp out in the front of your tank at night and wait for it to come out.
good luck!

try a crab trap out of a bottle of just bait them out of the rock work and then scoop em out with a net

lean a juice glass with some food inside it against the rock. the crab will go in after the food and be unable to climb back out.

You could try feeding it squid in the same spot everyday and once he gets used to it place a bottle trap in the same spot with some squid in it, the sally should go right in.

don't be a douche and kill it. no offense but its your fault, any research would've told you that they become potential fish eaters when larger. use the bottle trap like suggested and then try to find someone else that wants it or take it to your lfs

nvm my bad

i've heard of lots of hh crabs but never sallys and just assumed you bought them. sorry. still though try to catch them and find someone local who wants them as they are relatively popular in this hobby. Its better to sell the f###ers and buy new fish then to just kill it and have a -$ balance. just my $.02

i had a problem with one and had to kill it....I hate to kill even bugs....but this motherbugger was just impossible to remove....too quick, too smart and traps would NOT work....
I wasnt intending to murder him, but after chasing him for hours on one particular afternoon, I ended up somehow kinda cornering him, and in a split second I saw an opening, and simply cornered and then smooshed him against the glass, maiming and killing him.
I really did feel bad about it, but he had killed over $300 in fish....he had to go.
my advice, corner and smash him.
