Hey I want to buy this not sure what it is and what a good price for it is. I think the photos are of 2 different species. Any ideas?

looks like a red kelp to me. but I'm no macro algae expert.

likely a species of halymenia, too small really to tell the species. It will grow rather large, I normally find them as big sheets at least 9 inches tall if it is the species I think it is. (either H. echinophysa or floridana). I think $3 would be fair for a small cutting. (Bad choice where they made the cut though, will be difficult to attach...)
