ok im thinking its still in my tank. i had a ick outbreak 2 weeks ago. and all my fish clownfish, sixline, and firefish, got it unfortunetly my firefish didnt make it. but my sixline and the clown is free of spotting no itching and still eating like a pig. and i did this with just garlic. im thinking how long should i wait till i can add a fish?

3 months.

It takes 3 months for ick to live through the life cycle and die w/o a host. I would wait just to make sure you don't have another outbreak esp after adding more fish
