Thanks.

As for the reduced flow. I think that it does restrict flow a bit either way, so you may want to turn it up a little bit. As I mentioned, you will see it effecting the flow as it gets dirty, so make sure you clean it when it looks like it needs it.

I'll try to get the pictures of the split up today.

imcosmokramer
tyty, it's moving farther away, so I'll try to get an update.
imcosmokramer
Here are pictures of the new clone and the parent moving around:

Here is a quick updated FTS. You can see the nems have not settled yet, and they are moving around.

I added some more to my blog, but will add them here later.

What do you guys think of adding rics to the tank? or keep it only nems?

Lotsa open sand for a long tentacled plate coral.. kinda nem like.. cool.gif

Whatever happened to ur sexy shrimps?
imcosmokramer

imcosmokramer

imcosmokramer
Thanks everyone. I'm looking into getting an RBTA with green highlights... we'll see how it goes.
fishieCJ

Boomboy

There are a couple of snails in there, and there will be a bunch more soon to keep the sand clean.

I'm also setting up a BB SPS tank right now, so I'll need a lot of cleaners smile.gif
imcosmokramer
sooooooooo,

Someone, and I don't want to say who, added the wrong clownfish to their shopping cart sad.gif

so, instead of Black and White Occilaris, I got 2 clarkiis. I wasn't sure about them, but they are absolutely beautiful, so they went in smile.gif

The both went into a nem immediately, so hopefully they stay.

cmador
Nothing wrong with Clarkiis, imo. Looks like everyone's happy - nice big bubble tips on that nem.
spanko
Yeah a pair of clarkis are gonna get big in a 45 gallon cube eventually but should give you a good while of enjoyment before that eventuality. This is a nice picture my friend!!

Thanks buddy. I hope that since they are the only fish in there, that they will be ok for a while. I'll keep an eye on them. They have already started to like each other smile.gif
spanko
Ah yes, nothing like a little
danktank

Added another photo of a clarkii in an rbta

You have beautiful color in those nems. Do your clowns host more than one nem? My clownfish hosts both of the ones in my tank.

thanks!!

They host in multiple nems. Doing whatever they want, lol.
1337TANKHAX
I think I might add another false perc to my nem tank. Or just get rid of one and get a pair of Clarkiis haha. I don't know if I missed it, but what lights do you run over your tank? and what do you feed the nems?
nemmy
Any plumbing shots of this tank? Like sump fuge etc?
Also that room looks like it houses more than one tank, anything else going on in there?

Currently, I am using 15K XM 250 DE in a lumanmax elite (blue wave 7). I feed the nems silverside and mysis, and they love it. I really am happy with the Clarkiis, and am still waiting for the first bite wink.gif

The plumbing for this tank is really simple, just 2 1" drains and a 3/4" return. Since it dumps into the same sump as the other tanks in the room. Immediately next to this tank is my SPS tank (you can see it in my signature). And behind it my frag tank. They all use the same sump. I am doing these tanks until I am ready to get one big tank upstairs. I was ready, but then lost everything in the crash of my 75 gallon. I was planning on taking all of those colonies and starting the new tank....but now I have nothing. I'll try to take more pics.
imcosmokramer
oops, wrong thread.
mew
sweet tank, beautiful sps!
super nice red planet wub.gif mine's going to be forever before it gets big enough to table.
danktank
WOW lemme know when you have frags of either colony available ide love some of that in my tank!
imcosmokramer
ooops, wrote that in the wrong thread. Check out my SPS tank thread for the real tank.
imcosmokramer
so the algae is clearing up. Now I don't know if I want to take the sand out....I'm being lazy.
imcosmokramer
so I added 9 sexy shrimp and 3 new anemones (which were it bad condition when I got them) last night. We'll see what happens with the lights on today.
Weetabix7
I'd love to see some new pics. smile.gif
imcosmokramer
Here is a new fts

I got three new rescue anemones. 1 looks good, but the other two will probably still die.

Here is the first one, and one of the 9 sexy shrimp I added

Here are the two that are not doing well:

and a few more shots bc I've been neglecting:

Thanks, I'm happy with them. I hope you get a few as well, they are pretty cool to watch.

Unfortunately, I only have one Clarkii left. The other jumped sad.gif

cruzH20polo
Bummer
are you gonna try to replace it
thats just too many nems for one clown
imcosmokramer
yeah, I'll proly get another one at some point. I needed to build one of these screens for this tank. I have one for my SPS tank, just didn't think I would need it for this one.
imcosmokramer
The two are still closed!!!
