Went to my LFS today....seems to be every day now or every other......
Anyway, I had talked to him about a high fin shrimp goby, last week and he went ahead and ordered one... it apparently is paired with a shrimp, he didn't say what kind though. What shrimp is usually paired with a goby??? A sexi???
Hope so, I will see tomorrow picking them up after work.
I'll post pics asap. biggrin.gif
Think he said it's a yasha gobi???

Pistol shrimp probably, not sure what species it'd be though.

Yes it is a pistol shrimp... And boy is it TINY! I'm worried he's going to get sucked up in the pump......... I'll try to get pics of them tomorrow if they are out, getting acclimated now with the lights off. tongue.gif

Today....goby and shrimp are hiding. Can't find them anywhere...in 4g of water seems hard to lose a fish.....lol But they got lost for sure. Not too worried, I know they are not a social fish anyway. Hope to see him in a couple days.....I will chop up some Mysis tomorrow and see if I can coax him out.

So today my shrimp goby is starting to get brave... I was able to get some pics......

Pistol shrimp is alive, I saw him yesterday when I fed Mysis..They are both eating. Yay!!

How did you cut that glass? Are you going to cut one for use with the new light?

I run an Auto Glass shop, so I cut alot of glass. Hot rods, ect. most require custom cut glass. A simple glass cutter is all you need though, it's just plate glass...piece of cake really.
I used the same top I already cut, just had to do a couple more notches for it to fit.

I finally bout some thing for the tank... nice pink and green brain. Just wierd that this is the first major $$ other than my Yasha and Pistol shrimp, anyway here is a pic.

And yesterday got a FTS.

Nice! Looks like it will be cool.

Looks good. Still think the Finnex 4 gal is the nicest looking tank. May be partial because I have one.
.Newman.
maybe you could do a simple black foam-boar cutout for the back as the background to mask the cords/ filter/ wall and anything else smile.gif

tank looks great though and your fish and shrimp are awesome! I didn't even know the pair would fit into such a small tank!

How do you like the Nova T5 on the Finnex? I am looking at buying the same light fixture, and didn't know if it looked too big (18") for that size of a tank.
