I have heard and read mixed things about pom pom crabs. I have heard they sting corals and kill them and that they kill snails.I have also heard and read they are fine with everything and they don't pick on anything.
so would 2 pom pom crabs in a 3 galon with some snails and maybe a small goby and some corals. would be fine?

In my 3 gallon JBJ picototpe I have;
2 pom pom crabs
2 sexy shrimp
1 feather duster
at least 15 ricordea florida
1 tailspot blenny
1 skunk cleaner
10 or so tiny hermit crabs
2 small nassarus snails
1 jewel box clam
1 orange monti cap
1 Tyree blue chalice
1 pink pocillopora frag
several zoanthid, palythoa and various colord corallimorphs
LOADS of large amphipods and a lot of copepods
Everyone is doing fine, no one has been stung and no one has died. The pom poms stick to themselves. they come out at night or when i feed cyclopeeze. they don;t even bother with each other.
So yes, they should be fine in your 3 gallon system.
