I took the false floor out of chamber two and loaded it up with liverock instead of bioballs, i also removed part of the baffel to allow more water flow and it trickles soooo loud now as the water isn't staying in chamber two to prevent noise, any idea's for fixes? I also replaced the stock pump with a maxi 1200

As you already know, water makes noise only when it hits...that's all. The trick is to remove the FALL portion, or soften it.

[I increased the amount of water in my 29 boicube so its about 3 inches from the baffel. I added a few small pieces of LR and a whole lot of cheato.... Works great so far. Also.. I like the little trickle noise and know its adding O2 to my tank. So ifyou don't like the noise.. add more water

Raise your water level a half inch from the return elbow in Chamber 3. You can also put the top tray back in chamber 2 and put filter floss on top.
