Please help!

I removed it from a rock a week ago and it has gotten worse everyday...I think i've learned my lesson about leaving stuff alone. Please let me know what I can do.

umm that happened to mine when there was a huge swing in my tank.. im pretty sure the white part is just dead tissue.. just leave it alone and hopefully it will stop receding. mine did and it grew back in a short period of time and now its great.. but ya ripping it off a rock will do that to it.. its alright its just a little pissed at you.. it will get better!

edit: also where ever it is now... leave it there. you dont want to stress it out anymore then you already have.. only move it if its in a place of really high light but if its where it is in the pic then its fine
