i just saw today that my clown fish , firefish, and sixline wrasse. is scratching once in a while. they have small dots. im just wondering how good is this fish from recovering form ick. without treatment and just boosting their metabolism with garlic everyfeeding. so far their still eating like pigs.

Keep feeding frozen food soaked with garlic and try to keep your hands out of the tank as much as possible. If this doesn't help and the ich progresses, set up a temporarily hospital tank and treat with culpramine. HTH, GL!

PS- If it helps, those fish seem to be a bit more resistant to ich, so hopefully it will clear up without having to relocate them.

thank you so much replying. how long should i wait to see and keep feeding them soaked in garlic. and do u have a good link on setting up a hospital tank?

Well... keep an eye on the fish, and if they don't seem to be getting better, you'll need to set up a hospital tank.

I'm at work right now and don't have a link, but I'm sure someone else will chime in.

oh ok. does ick usually in our aquarium or its intruduce in it?
