I got a GBTA in the mail today. The water was in the 60s, its mouth was gaping, but its foot was holding strong. He puffed up and moved a bit after I put him in my tank. The craziest thing though is that my maroon is already hosting in it! I will try to get a good pic up soon.

My Maroon hosted in less than 5 minutes. She never swims farther than 6 inches.

I was surprised since the only other anenome I have ever had was a sebae about 9 years ago. My clowns didnt host it for the first 4 months.

i hope you acclimated that poor nem well. salinity and temp wise, that maroon could actually be a detriment if he is trying to survive

I took my time, and acclimated it by adjusting the temp 1 degree at a time for about 10 mins each time. The nem has doubled in size, and moved around a little. It looks a thousand times better than it did yesterday.

Maroon clowns are known to be very tough on their nems. If your nem seems to be doing worse I'd try seperating the maroon in a breeders net for a week to give the nem a chance to recover.

Today it again looks better than the day before, and even bigger.
