Ok so on a few of my frags, ive been watching this white, spongy, furry, looking algae. Ugh its kind of hard to explain but it keeps my corals closed up. It actually reminds me of the fake spider web you can buy for Halloween. Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it? It forms almost a sponge type layer on whatever its on.

Thanks, sorry for no pics.

might be (forgive spelling) chrysophytes, or just a sponge..spnogviroes eat sponges, they are easy to remove and exposure to air...
