Full Version: Monthly Reef Profile Nominations
Nano-Reef.com Forums > Nano Reefs > Monthly Reef Profiles

Christopher Marks
If you would like to recommend a member's nano reef aquarium to be featured in our Monthly Reef Profiles, please post here. Include the member's name, a link to their aquarium thread, a current FTS if possible, and tell us why you nominated them. Aquariums under 40 gallons are preferred.

Featured reefs are chosen for a myriad of reasons. Some of these reasons may include aquarium maturity, unique livestock, aquascaping, clever DIY builds, minimalism, or system automation.

Ideally, nominated aquariums should have current and typically updated members aquarium threads. Please only post nominations, unrelated discussion or comments will be removed.

Thanks!

I second JTumbleweed's 40.

Yes! Although he upgraded to a 58 gallon... I think it would be a good idea to wait on his nomination so he can fill up the 58. Then again that really isn't a nano.

CM,

I'd like to nominate dexter1080's 29g biocube for TOTM. It may not fit the typical criteria, but please read this guy's inspirational story and look at what he's been able to do w/ his tank given the challenges life has presented him. This guy is an inspiration to all of us and his story is a reminder of how we should never give up. Many new reefers face challenges entering the hobby, some giving up, and I think seeing Brendon's story and tank on the front page for a month would be encouraging and inspiring to those newer reefers facing challenges in this hobby, as well as everyone else.

This is always ridiculously tough, but Uhuru's is really unique compared to what most hobbyists choose to stock. He also has a pretty interesting maintenance routine (1.5g water changes every day! that's dedication!)

Paleoreef103
aaron1987's "47 column mixed reef" On the fringe of being considered a nano, but I think this is the prettiest column tank I have ever seen.

As a long time member of N-R, I also nominate Volcano for TOTM!

Even though it's technically not a Nano, I say we make an exception to the size requirements and nominate Volcano as well. Any tank that has received the recognition it has, deserves it.

All the Ayes say..........
