Hi all
I've got a Juwel Lido 120 and I'm going to go marine but first I'd like your thoughts on an over flow and sump.
These are two designs for the layout I'd like to use but I'm not 100% sure about how to set it all out.
I "borrowed" these designs from here.. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1492060

Honestly, I'm completely new to the whole idea of standing pipes, overflows and sumps and such so as much help and advice as possible would be awesome. biggrin.gif

figure out which style overflow n drain will work best for your setup, then we can come up with questions.

I'm think either the Durso or Stockman.
Whichever takes less space and is quiter.

herbie is the method with greatest safty and least noise. both durso n stockman work within the method.

explanation in back half of thread, read the hole thing for both pros n cons.
