Full shot.
From Volcano to Cradle of Life, an evolution of sorts. I love the way the rockwork looks in this pic. I reminds me of "Pride Rock" from The Lion King. ahhhhhhhhsavennnnnnyaaaaahhhh!!!!!
P.s. I spent the past few hours reading this entire thread. It was worth it.

I like the change. At first I was surprised and unsure, but as others have said, it looks more 'real'
The big basin is like a pico tank hanging above your tank ! Very cool idea. Excited to see how it grows in.

I have a couple questions on your lighting.
- What brand pendants did you buy?
- What bulb are you running?
- Does the fixture have any LED's built in for night lighting?

Tide pool is sweet. I loved the valcano look but this one I like a little better. Those pictures are nice. Loving the crab action in all of them. Keep up the good work! Should change the title name

Hey the tank looks great, I read up to page 8, and I have a question. Could you take any pictures of the equipment? Because there doesn't seem to be any. Also is there any way I can access all the photos you uploaded? I know you host it on your own website, but that makes it hard as you don't keep a picture gallery. Also is there higher resolution pictures available?
Thanks

how much did the glass work cost? and how thick is the glass?
I am contemplating building a similar setup.
i would like to go 8' x2'x14" But dont want unsightly bracing..
so i might make two of these tanks for the basement future lounge room

(have a finished basement that literally has nothing in it.

decided i am going to go with a rimless 8ftx2ftx15"
should exist by late spring

if not sooner! Going to use a similar setup.. but more of a cascading tidepool system

There are too many words to describe this tank, but one that I think is very fitting is "Epic"
I love how the tank also has its own website lol
You have done a really amazing job, I really like it. It is truly awesome and is something that one would expect to find at Rainforest Cafe or something
Did you make up the name randomly or does it mean something in Hawaiian/Other South Pacific Islands ?

I have a sail fin like that, except mine is still quite small. Good to know they still look so good when they get large!

Hi all! Thanks for the kind words. The tank is still up and kicking. I got rid of the two tangs (FINALLY

but I still haven't installed the small LED for the upper little tank. Not much growth as a result. BUT, the LED light should be in soon, and I will post some pictures. Other than that, everything else is the same just grown in a bit. The anemone is still rocking the house, though it has moved a bit.
Everyone is very healthy though, and that is the ultimate goal!
Post pictures soon! Thanks for following the thread!
