I know reefcleaners is a sponsor here and I am leaning torwards them but I was wondering if anyone had any honest opinions on either source. Which one looks best? I will be ordering around 20lbs to add to my established live rock in a tank upgrade.

Is it safe to add dry rock to a established system without causing another cycle?

dry rock will never cause you to have a cycle. all you have to do is wash and drop it in.

I bought 15# of dry rock from reefcleaners, and besides being awsome rock, John was great to work with. He is very responsive to e-mail and picked out exactly what I wanted. I don't know about the others, but reefcleaners rock is not covered with life and just left out of water for a while with a lot of dead material, it is very clean old rock. All you need to do is rinse it off in a bucket of ro water and you should be good to go.

I have dry rock from both Marco and BRS. They look, feel and smell

the exact same. You cannot tell the difference. I believe Reef Cleaners is the exact same rock as well. I got the macro rock from someone local, so I do not know of Macro's customer service. I have ordered from both Reef Cleaners and BRS, both are great companies. So I think you would be happy with the rock where ever you order from. John (of reef cleaners) is a member of this site though.
PS. The rock is awesome. Mine has been in the tank for around two months and is starting to color up nicely. Once it is fully colored it will be the best looking rock around IMO.
