Reefcleaner's is conscientious about the environment/longevity of his specimens and colonies. Has QUALITY specimens. Has excellent customer service, and add's a tolerant and patient knowledge base to pretty much every forum I have seen him on, and his prices are top notch even WITHOUT the freebies you almost always get.

You are a computer expert who couldn't figure out how to order snails/macro and refused help.

I agree with OTS. I ordered a custom CUC of dwarf ceriths, nerites, and Florida ceriths. They all survived the trip and the prices were excellent. I would recommend highly.

and if you are in the computer industry.... how in the hell did you not figure out how to purchase.... and not only that demanded a 128 encryption cert? you have ANY idea how easy those are to break? (hint takes less than 15 seconds now a days with a 2 yr old laptop, if your worth your salt that is) you should know better.

I would also like to add that his nerites are awesome. Very hardy. In fact, one of them crawled out of the tank and onto the floor. Well, that's where I found him in the morning. I didn't think he survived at first so I put him back in the tank just to see. A few seconds later, that little sucker was moving around and eating again. Yippee!

Rus I don't know what your problem is. I ordered from John just this morning. In less than 5 minutes I had order confirmation as well as a second personal note from John refunding some of my money because he didn't feel right charging me what he would have had to charge me for shipping some hermits. Now that is honest. BTW, I have a high school diploma and run Vista and I was able to figure out the site.

John is hands down one of the best people to do business with. Rus your a f###in douchebag for joining just to bash John and ReefCleaners. Obviously you can't figure out this site either or you probably would've realized he has bent over backwards to make his customers happy.

With my purchase, there was a mixup and to make up for it John refunded my shipping and sent me the macro i ordered. I was having computer issues and hardrive crash while John worked his @$$ off to make sure I was happyy, and was completely patient with delayed responses on my end from the comp. problems(A fan and some penny) I opened a box with a huge shaving brush/large mass of caulpera/ large halimeda/ and a portion of the penny macro to stand out in my LFS's 225g let alone my 45g. In the origional order he sent me well over 3 times the amount of perriwinkles, and extra nerites, and ceriths than what I ordered. If all that wasn't enough, John was willing to take time out of his busy day, to answer random questions I had completely unrelated to the ordeal.

so to sum it all up...Great seller, outstanding guy, douchebag hackler who can't figure out how to place an order

or insomnia... I actually slept all day. Stayed up from yesterday until around noon, caught up on emails and then slept from 3-9pm. Had stuff to do today too.....Going to head off to bed soon though, I got a really weird sleeping schedule to say the least. Which is why we don't have phone service, my hours change all the time, and well I like to be the person talking to people when they contact us. You can imagine how difficult it is to schedule phone calls at 3am in the morning. It is 1am in Cali. though, so I wouldn't be talking

I see that you failed to notice that I have been a member of nano-reef since 2004.

These forums are for voicing our opinions. If you do not agree with what someone has to say, fine, that happens. Only a few of you managed to reply with an articulate response. For the others, look at John's response to this post, did he revert to the "mob mentality" and flame the person whose opinion differed, no he did not and that should be a lesson for you the next time someone has a different opinion then your own.

I honestly would have to agree.

I was a little disappointed with how our fellow NR members reacted to your post. Most responses were fallacious, and really held no value to the other members of the NR community. Before you post, think to yourself "how is this post helping our community, how will it make me look, and how would I feel if I got this response"

It isn't hard to be nasty online; it is actually really easy to sit behind a keyboard and flame.
It takes more effort to be constructive and mature no matter what the situation - but it is always the most admirable choice to make. This community is about support; even if you completely disagree with someone, try to help and defuse the bomb rather then being the trigger to set it off.

Keep in mind that we have moderators for a reason - don't feel that it is your personal responsibility to get into an argument with someone who is being rediculous, it only makes you out to be as big of an idiot as them. (I personally do not feel that Rusalka is being all that unreasonable or offensive, they had a poor experience and voiced it; end of story. I am not saying I agree that ReefCleaners has poor service, I am simply saying there is absolutely no need for all the flaming).

I normally ignore this sort of thing, but sometimes I feel it appropriate to voice my opinion.

TJ, I agree with you regarding the attitude Rus was hit with.

However, I'll reiterate my concern wit Rus' post. I took the time to read his marsh post and my concerns still stand. After 5 years and one post Rus posts again to offer negative feedback about John's service. Had the evidence for bad service he presented been reasonable, perhaps it would be worth taking note. To the contrary, it seemed weak and smacks of a disgruntled customer who wouldn't work with John to remedy the issue and now is seeking to discredit John for some irrational reason. If that is not true, I would like to see more evidence to the contrary. If it is true, then I honestly have no sympathy for Rus getting flamed.

My point has nothing to do with whether or not anyone feels Rus' comments were justified. My point is that we don't have to react immaturely. When we respond in a mature manner, there is far more weight in our words. If anyone here has taken Modes of Reasoning in college or university they will understand how foolish most of those reactions were. Once again, it really does not aid our community in any way to have a forum riddled with flaming. It serves absolutely no purpose, and poisons what could have been a proper discussion that would have helped people come to their own conclusions about what happened.

I honestly didn't need pages of flaming to know that ReefCleaners did what they could, and a customer was unhappy regardless. That is really the customers choice, and if they choose to be difficult and not allow ReefCleaners to redeem themselves than that is their prerogative.

I am glad Rus posted their opinion cause it showed me the lengths ReefCleaners is willing to go to in order to satisfy a customer even after the fact.

I am sure you can understand where I am coming from. I personally do not have sympathy for anyone in this situation - I am just trying to express how I feel about how we treat this forum.

ok i just made my first order with Reef cleaners looking forward to it
I made the order mostly because of the Price off shipping on macro algae!
Tired of trying to get macro for 7 dollars a piece and 30 to 50 dollars in shipping.
And he actiullly had sea grass been looking for that for some time now!!!!
