So I bought a RKL with an SL2 and a single PC4. Tonight after setting up I updated the firmware on all of the modules and now I'm getting the error "Alarm 01 Module Limit!". How do I correct this??
You think you'd be able to find some info on the site or in the manual. Oh wait, what manual?

Have you checked their forum on RC? it's pretty big over there.

Yes indeed, it mentions the same error someone is receiving on a different module but of course DA always suggests to call and doesn't post how to resolve.
Don't get me wrong. I love DA but the online and printed support is pretty lame.

That blows. I was looking at getting one once they let it talk to the NET module and Mac support.

do a factory reset. That fixed it for me. Of course you have to reprogram everything but it does fix it. Have you posted this in the DA forums yet? They need to know about this.

Problem was that it locked up and I actually had to do the unlock code 6+ times before it would unlock so I could reset.
Spoke with DA this morning, very helpful, suggested they add some info about this to their site.

How did you actually get a hold of them? I can't seem to get anyone to to help me. What was the best route to get help. I'm thinking about returning the recent accessories and trying to sell the messed up head unit and let someone else deal with their customer support or lack there of.

No, there's nothing that can be done on our side. They sent me a program so I can upload some stuff from my unit but I can't upload the the info because the software gives me an error
Oh sorry.... this is someone else's thread.

That's been done. It's not a program I'm setting. This was one of the units from the first pre order. I'm just getting around to setting it up now O.O.

I would just give them a call on the number on their site, I called first thing in the morning and got help right away.

I just updated my RKL last night and was lucky to not have any problems, been working real good so far, I would do the same if you can't figure it out, just give them a call.

Thing is, I'm not good with instructions over the phone. I'm a nite worker.... anyone awake at night over there? 3am sounds good to me.

Hah! In that case I'd just email them, they'll reply quickly, or you could post the question on their forum.

Ummm, I did..... and I did. The last email I received was on 9/11. I've emailed them 3 times since. Bumped my thread on their site forum and PM'd someone twice. Does it take cookies, milk and a knock on their door? I'm not being impatient, I'm being ignored. I fully expected problems, I did the pre order.... guinea pig group. I'm more than willing to be patient and work through this. But I need someone to work through it with me.
I do not enjoy playing this game. I don't want to talk smack about anyone. I want to be the good customer. Sugar gets you more than vinegar. But I have 800 bucks invested in this and there's tumbleweeds rolling through my inbox.

I wish I was greasy.
But I think I've been handed KY for lube.
