simple setup, couple hob's, couple k nanos, 4x24w sundial w/powerbrites, weekly water changes...
going strong for about 6 months with no real problems, just frags and patience, let me know what you guys think

battery died, will put more on sometime, as usual pics dont do it any justice though.

nope, just water changes every week or two, +/- 3 gallons, also have no idea what any of my levels are at, havent tested the water since the first couple weeks as it was all from existing tanks pretty much, except the sand..

thanks, got the powerbrite idea from your tank by the way, all i need is a nice torch now...
Paleoreef103
Looks like a very nice tank! So you are running two koralia nanos, two hang on back filters, a sundial, and two powerbrites? Plus a heater I gather. Very clean build!
dirtwheelsfl
ya i keep it as bare bones as possible, no heater, stays at constant 78-79, might have a problem in the winter, well have to see
polok121
So whats the lighting setup like?? what kind of bulbs are you using. I really like colors
dirtwheelsfl
1 stock current 10k, 2 stock current actinics, and one geisemann aquablue+
got it off ebay with that setup, another month or two ill probably be replacing them. the powerbrites really pop it off though...
polok121
what are the powerbites
dirtwheelsfl
current powerbrite led strips, i have 2 of the blue ones hangin on the front
dirtwheelsfl
apparently ive got a pistol shrimp in my tank..

i was thinking about adding some kind of shrimp or watchman goby anyway, but what are the chances of the fish pairing with the shrimp when i toss it in there? my sandbed is about an inch and a quarter at the deepest, if that would present any problems chime in...
dirtwheelsfl
(loud whistle) eueeeee!
jeremai

Nice tank man, thanks for checking mine out. I haven't made the jump to SPS but maybe I will in the new tank.

Hows the rimless thing going for ya? I couldn't do it, I had to eurobrace, looking at your tank I wish I had just left it but oh well.
dirtwheelsfl
^ ya some caps coming off that wall in yours would be sweet i think...

i was gonna do something like yours, but going from front to back on the ends, then just said f it, havent had any problems with it, bows a little bit but you cant see it unless youre looking for it.
