sounds to be about the same dimensions as a 30 breeder only rimless... NICE! what's the glass thickness? and are you seeing any bowing?

Very nice build. I love the rock work. It's nice and spread out, but not the standard drop two rocks in and call them islands approach.

thanks guys... ya i think depth and shallowness is where its at, the 20L was too vertical looking.

latteslave: 30 breeder minus 6 inches of length... its 1/4" glass, if youre looking for a bow you can see it slightly, but not enough to worry me. supposedly the max depth for 1/4" rimless is 14", but the 12 i have looks alot deeper cuz it doesnt have a thick black band around it.

ahhh! Got it - misread the dimensions... This does look awesome! I am guessing you are using the same light - are you still getting good coverage on the 4 bulb?

I dunno yet, it will be a little while before I set it up tho...maybe switch over my 29g...the corals on the bottom will get more light than they are now since the 29g is tall...my caps and SPS are also outgrowing that tank quickly as well as the xenia...I have to do something about those before they take over which means rescaping the tank, and we all know it never comes out the same twice

^ i can take some... but my setup is really one-off for the desk i had to mount it to. its just some 1 inch emt electrical conduit bent to a 90 with 2 holes drilled in each pipe, with 4 holes in the light, connected by some cable with crimps on both ends.

adjustability is definitely an issue with it though, actually impossible withoutcutting the cable and taking the light apart. i would do it different next time for sure, probably just use one of those hanging kits, youre still gonna have to drill holes in the light tho.

only transfer casualty i had was a broken digi colony good luck!

yes very noticeable, looks like a halide. the higher they are the better they spread though. everything glows insane too...

tanks been on autopilot for a while, havent done a waterchange in probably 3 months, whoops. everything seems to be doing good, other than a lil bubble algea and flatworms..and starting to run outta room. probably gonna move/delete/trade some colonies around soon

RIP green birdsnest, hydnophora, and half of my orange cap. scraped some piece of crap green palys off a rock and i guess they let loose some chemical warfare. mostly everything else looks fine though thank god.
