you dont need a SLR...your taking GREAT pix with your POS. Awesome pix man. hope they're not to overly corrected. =P

yeah, the OP doesn't need a DSLR. in fact, he's a great example that it doesn't take a complicated camera system to deliver a good reef photograph.

I thought I recognized that torch. Aren't you dan from URS?

key word here is COMPLICATED. he has taken DSLR level photos without the complicated settings/lenses etc. i use a canon rebel xti DSLR and to be honest, its so much mroe complicated than my 8 MP P&S canon s80. im learning tho. great shots. im very impressed.
